Protecting You & Your Loved Ones

a family-owned company specialising in Wills and Powers of Attorney

A little planning now can do a lot to protect you and your loved ones in the future. It’s never too early to start putting plans in place. Be active not passive.

Why you need a Will

If you do not have a Will, you have no say as to what happens to your assets when you die. The laws of intestacy will divide your estate.

This might mean that some of your loved ones are not adequately provided for, or the assets will go to unintended beneficiaries. Over 60% of adults do not have a Will.

Not having a Will in place causes worry and stress to your loved ones. With our expert advice you can have a Will tailored to your needs. We can prepare simple or complex wills giving you peace of mind knowing that everything has been taken care of when the time comes.

Why you need Lasting Powers of Attorney

There is no doubt that as health care has improved so has our life expectancy. Debilitating illness such as stroke, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease have become of increasing concern. Should you have such an illness it places an enormous burden on your family. You need to do all that you can to help them and to protect your family wealth.

A major step in the right direction is to have Lasting Powers of Attorney in place so that someone can help if you should become incapable of managing your own affairs.

We can make it easy for you

We recognise that for many of our client’s communication via a computer, filling in forms and signing unfamiliar documents is difficult. We like to see our clients face to face to make this a simple as possible for you if we can. If that is not possible, we can offer home appointments locally in Staffordshire. We can do face to face meetings on your computer, laptop via Zoom or Teams meeting and we can conduct telephone consultations. Whatever your needs are we will accommodate them.
